Privacy policy

This document is informational and does not create an attorney–client relationship. It summarizes practices in good faith as of the date shown on the Site.

Who operates this website

The website teur.work (the "Site") is a personal portfolio operated by an individual ("we", "us"). Contact options (for example social links) are published on the homepage.

Data we process and why

When you request pages, hosting or edge infrastructure may temporarily process technical data such as IP address, HTTP metadata, and timestamps to deliver the Site and mitigate abuse. We use OpenPanel (https://openpanel.dev), a privacy-oriented analytics product, to understand aggregate traffic and interactions (for example page views and outbound link clicks). Depending on configuration, OpenPanel may process pseudonymous identifiers, coarse location derived from IP, device/browser metadata, and event payloads. Analytics events are sent from your browser over HTTPS to our OpenPanel ingest at https://opapi.teur.work; the page never receives a server-side client secret. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this Site.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regimes)

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or comparable laws apply, we rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / UK equivalent) to operate and secure the Site and to obtain aggregate analytics that are not sold or used for cross-context behavioural advertising. Strictly necessary storage that remembers your language or theme is used to provide core functionality you expect; depending on your jurisdiction this may also be treated as consent implied by continued use after notice, or as a legitimate interest.

Cookies and similar storage

We use first-party cookies such as: • myland_i18n — stores your selected interface language; • myland_theme — stores light/dark appearance. OpenPanel may use browser storage (for example localStorage or sessionStorage) instead of cookies. Details appear on the Cookies & similar technologies page.

Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port certain personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the channels published on the Site. We will verify reasonable requests and respond within timelines required by applicable law.

Retention and security

Server logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security, debugging, and legal compliance. Analytics retention follows settings in our OpenPanel workspace. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures; no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

International transfers and subprocessors

Infrastructure and analytics providers may process data in countries other than your own, including countries without an adequacy decision. Where required, we rely on safeguards offered by vendors (for example standard contractual clauses). A current list of categories of recipients is implied by the services described above (hosting provider, OpenPanel).

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16. If you believe we have collected information about a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page by posting a revised version. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the bottom of this document. Continued use after changes constitutes your acknowledgment where permitted by law. Effective date: 1 May 2026
